Choosing the Right Solution for the Job

Is it time to deep clean your floors? Whether you’re washing your carpets or cleaning your hard floors, you’ll need to use the right solution to get the best results. Discover how to make the most of the Vax Platinum Power Max and Vax Glide when cleaning the floors in your home.

Cleaning Carpets

Working its magic deep down in the fibres of your carpet, you can achieve superb carpet cleaning results with a VAX carpet cleaner such as the VAX Platinum Power Max.

There are various bottles of solutions to choose from to use with your carpet cleaner, so how do you know what’s right for you? When used with VAX Platinum, our Platinum Professional solution is our best performing solution to deep clean your carpets and remove up to 93% of bacteria. The solution neutralises bad odours, ideal for use in homes with pets and Carpetguard™ protection leaves your carpets fresher for longer

Using the correct solution will not only lead to optimum results but also helps to maintain product performance. Using other solutions can lead to over shampooing or foaming, causing a build up of soapy residue, attracting even more dirt!

Need to target a high traffic area? The VAX Platinum Power Max includes pre-treatment solution and a pre-treatment wand. Spray the concentrated solution on the affected areas, let it sit for roughly 30 minutes and clean with a carpet cleaner. This will lift your carpet pile and any embedded, discoloured stains.

Cleaning Hard Floors

When cleaning hard floors, bacteria removal should be a priority when looking for a cleaning solution. A recent study1 found that laminate flooring in the kitchen is one of the worst surfaces for bacterial contamination.

The Vax ONEPWR Glide Hard Floor Cleaner takes the effort out of cleaning hard floors because it vacuums, washes and dries at the same time. Using the Glide with Vax ONEPWR Multi Floor solution kills 99.9% of bacteria*.

The Vax ONEPWR Multi Floor solution can also be used with the Vax ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless Spot Washer to clean unexpected spills on your carpets, hard floors, upholstery or car interior.

Cleaning with steam

Combining the cleaning power of steam with a steam detergent, such as Vax Spring Fresh Steam Detergent, helps break down grease and grime faster than steam alone, whilst killing 99.9% of harmful bacteria**.

Steam cleaning is a fast and easy way to hygienically clean a variety of household surfaces. Get the most out of your steam cleaner by using one that comes with a range of attachments, such as the Vax Steam Fresh Combi which includes a window tool for cleaning windows and glass. This means there’s no need to switch between cloths, sprays and brushes when cleaning around your home.
